Sunny Sundays!

In celebration of all things sunny, and to promote an enriched environmentParking Suns now features every Sunday a different YouTube music clip about the sun!

For this week’s entry, the 1960’s group Dennis Yost and the Classics IV perform one of their hit songs, “Stormy.”  I’ll paste the lyrics below; the sun is mentioned twice.  And it’s merely coincidence (oh really?) that tonight on TV Anderson Cooper is going to interview adult film star Stormy Daniels about her alleged affair with Donald Trump and the Trump side’s efforts to keep her quiet.

I’ll offer two YouTube versions:  In the first there are no visuals, but an extended mix of the song, and with good sound quality.  In the second, the group performs live but many years later.

You were the sunshine, baby, whenever you smiled
but I call you “Stormy” today
All of a sudden that old rain´s fallin´ down
and my world is cloudy and gray, you´ve gone away
Oh, Stormy, oh, Stormy, bring back that sunny day

Enjoy your week!
