You can see from the video above that I still have to work on my walking. Or rather, WE still need to find the right DBS setting so that walking is no longer a problem for me.
One thing you can’t glean from the video is that these days I can’t walk very far. When I lived in New York City in my pre-Parkinson’s days, I’d often walk miles with no problem. For example, when I lived in Brooklyn and came back to the city on a train, I’d walk all the way home from Grand Central Station. Now, though, my legs give out after 15 minutes or so.
