We were walking in a large park just north of Ossining, about 60 miles north of New York City. Here’s what we saw:
- Another warning!
2. Flooding in the park. Note: This is part of the Hudson River, which actually isn’t a river but a tidal estuary. As far north as Albany (135 miles), the “river” has high tides and low tides. The time we were walking in this park was approximately high tide.
3. More flooding.
4. Warm weather! No need for hat or gloves.
5. Meanwhile, back at home, our poppies are already popping up for spring….
6. …as are our daffodils!
