The three women above are coordinating a special art project for next year’s World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto, Japan, and they seek your help!
They are going to fold 10,000 origami cranes, each one inscribed with a message of hope about living with Parkinson’s, supporting people who have Parkinson’s, and finding a cure. Where will they get these messages? From you!
Just click
here,
post your “message of hope” (be creative as you wish!) and indicate that you heard about this through my blog (Bruce Ballard/Parking Suns). You don’t have to leave your own name or email address, either!
Other official bloggers for the World Parkinson Congress are doing the same thing – it an unofficial competition among us to see who can bring in the most contributions.
The art project is accepting messages from now through July 31, 2018. Enter as many messages of hope that you want! When I’m at the Congress next year, I’ll post photos of what the final project looks like.
Thank you, in advance!
Note: You don’t have to leave your name or email address.
Hope is in sunshine and raindrops,
wind and snow.
Find it and share it.
Those times that Parkinson’s demands your body rest
When you may not look or feel your best
You can still close your eyes and use the time to ponder
About those things of which you are fonder
