If you live in the New York City area, or want a good reason to visit the Big Apple, keep Saturday, April 28, open so you can participate in the Parkinson’s Unity Walk in Central Park. This is an enormous and uplifting event. It raises hundreds of thousands of dollars, provides some great entertainment, allows you to complete your daily exercise in one of the most fabulous city parks in the world, and lets you interact with a gazillion Parkies, their caregivers, and representatives of the major Parkinson’s organizations.
Plus it’s fun. To see my photo essay from last year’s walk, click here.
