In celebration of all things sunny, and to promote an enriched environment, Parking Suns now features every Sunday a different YouTube music clip about the sun!
For this week’s entry, we have an a cappella version of “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” sung by Gingerona & Trudbol, who start off as a pair and end up with five voices going on simultaneously.
The song doesn’t mention the sun per se, but does say “At the end of the storm is a golden sky…”, which I think means the sun, and not a nuclear bomb explosion.
I chose this song for today for three reasons:
- They do a great job with it.
- Much of the USA had a surprise snow storm yesterday, which was kind of a downer, but today the sun is shining brightly and the streets are clear (at least in the area around where I live).
- Having Parkinson’s disease means basically walking through a storm every day. In fact, fellow Parkie Jon Palfreman wrote a book about Parkinson’s called Brain Storms; I haven’t read it but I did review a review about it, which you can read here: click!
