In celebration of all things sunny, Parking Suns now features every Sunday a different YouTube music clip about the sun!
This week’s entry: a double header suggested by my World Parkinson Congress blogging partner, Laura Gould, whose website (The Magic Trick – Life with Parkinson’s) is one of the most stellar in the entire Internet firmament.
We begin with Dina Blade shining brightly “On the Sunny Side of the Street.” Then, because you can’t have too much of a good thing, we hear her sing “So Danço Samba,” which hails from the very sunny, very sultry, very hot Amazon. (And no, I don’t mean the online retailer Amazon.com!)
Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worry on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
To the sunny side of the street
Can’t you hear a pitter-pat?
And that happy tune is your step
Life can be so sweet
