The BBC has a terrific video about a computer wizard in London who developed hardware and software that quell Parkinson tremors in the hand of Young Onset Parkie Emma Lawton.
Emma is a graphic designer. At the beginning of the video, she can no longer draw or write her name. The computer geek, Haiyan Zhang, invents a computer gizmo that Emma attaches to her wrist. Voilà! Emma writes her name clearly and draws a straight line.
Happy days are here again!
