In celebration of all things sunny, Parking Suns now features every Sunday a different YouTube music clip about the sun!
We started the series two weeks ago with a terrific version of “On the Sunny Side of the Street” by the Manhattan Transfer.
Last week we presented an upbeat Jackson Five singing “Blame It On the Boogie.”
This week it’s the American pop song “Sunny” as it was used in a South Korean movie of the same name. The movie’s plot, as explicated by Wikipedia: The film is about a middle-aged woman who tries to fulfill her friend’s dying wish of reuniting their group of high school friends. The film alternates between two timelines: the present day where the women are middle-aged, and the 1980s when they were in high school.
Enjoy your week!
