Parky Takes a Hike!
While visiting Bruce’s family in Maine, Parky (official mascot of the World Parkinson Congress) took a hike with Bruce; his sister, Harriet; and Harriet’s boyfriend, Brook.
They walked along the Casco Bay Trail. Many things captured Parky’s attention. Like wow! A hollowed-out tree trunk! A real raccoon might live here!
Of course, Parky wanted to read all the trail signs! Especially this one, where Parky and the Sun could co-mingle! Yay, Parking Suns!
OMG! Another hollow tree trunk. Maybe this could become Parky’s summer home! Fantastic!
Shhhh! Be quiet! On the island in the background, you can just make out a treetop platform for one of the local ospreys. Have you ever seen an osprey? Here’s one:
All right! A frisson of danger during Parky’s walk in the woods!
Ah….the sun sets on Casco Bay during a spectacularly low tide (because of the full moon).
Parky loves all things Maine!
