I’m not on Sinemet (carbidopa-levodopa), the main drug for Parkinson’s disease, as my symptoms are still mild. Consequently I don’t have the “on – off” condition of when my meds are/are not working.
Here are all my prescription drugs and dosages, including some that I’ve been taking since before my diagnosis:
- Ropinirole, 0.5 mg – 3 tabs 3 x day
- Azilect, 1 mg – 1 tab in the morning
- Nortriptyline, 50 mg – 1 tab at night
- Simvastatin, 20 mg – 1 tab at night
- Clonazepam, 1 mg – 1 tab at night
- Androgel 1.62%, 20.25 mg per pump – 4 pumps every morning
I also take these OTC items:
- Aspirin, 325 mg – 1 tab
- Multivitamin with Minerals
- D3-2000 IU
- CoQ10, 100 mg
- Saw Palmetto, 450 mg
- Acetyl L-Carnitine, 400 mg

Okay, the first group reminds me of my chemo back in the bad old days. The second list reminds me that I probably need to supplement my nutrition.
How great that the chemo is in the past. You really went through a lot. Thanks again for writing! – Bruce
