I try to get to the gym or do some other kind of workout 4 or 5 times/week. Soon I’ll install a calendar on this site where I can track my physical activity.
For the record, here’s what I’ve done in the past week:
- Feb 14: gym, 60 minutes, weights
- Feb 16: gym, 2 hours, weights
- Feb 17: home, 50 minutes, stretching
- Feb 18: gym, 60 minutes weights + 45 minutes bike
- Feb 20: Manhattan, walked briskly from Grand Central Station to 32nd Street & 5th Ave., worked up quite a sweat
I just wish the other people I know with Parkinson’s would do what you do, in terms of exercise. I think it must help tremendously to know what is possible.
